Art at the Castle: Artist: $3300; non-artist partner/friend $2300

JOIN ME for a small group sketching retreat at Château de Marmouatte in the southwest of France. Price includes: daily plein air art instruction and excursions, individualized feedback; 7 nights’ accommodation and all meals at Château de Marouatte where the resident chef showcases regional riches and accommodates dietary needs; complimentary local Bergerac wine, beer and soda; transfer between Angoulême train station and chateau; shuttle to sketching sites. Not included: airfare and train from arrival airport to Angoulême station; site entry fees, personal expenses, art materials, travel insurance. Small group size for individualized attention: 8-12 artists maximum. Dordogne is a UNESCO world heritage protected landscape famous for its castles, charming villages, prehistoric cave art, classic French cuisine, great wine and a relaxed pace. All skill levels welcome.
